The Children’s Resource Project North East works with disabled young people and their families.  In all our work we advocate choice for disabled young people as well as promote disability equality and inclusion. 

In April 2008 we were awarded funding to set up a volunteer scheme (Support Plus) to increase the independence and reduce the isolation felt by disabled young people aged between 14 and 24 living in Stockton and Middlesbrough.  

Support Plus 

is now a well established volunteering scheme which provides links between disabled young people and trained volunteers.
