Running Away - Full day course for professionals who may work / come into contact with young people at risk of or who have run away.

Full - day training session
6 hours inclusive of breaks.
Costs
£650 + VAT per trainer per session. All charges will be agreed prior to any work being undertaken.
Aim
To enable participants to improve their skills and knowledge in working more effectively with Children and Young People who they have responsibility for are at risk of running away.
Objectives
By the end of the training participants will be able to:
- Gain a better understanding of the complex issues and experiences of young people who run away
- Identify preventative methods of working and the purpose and value of these interventions
- Gain additional knowledge, skills and confidence in dealing with complex situations.
Outcomes
- Implement key principles of good practice in working with young people who are at risk of running away
- Staff more confident in working with potential runaways
- A reduction in the incidences of running away
