How do we do it?
Each key area is different:
· In Nottingham, activities take place weekly to engage young refugees between the ages of 11 and 19 to improve their integration and involvement in their schools and communities. We also host the Refugee Council Children’s Panel Nottingham surgery
· In Birmingham, we are just starting to support young refugees aged 11-18 years in education as part of a youth-led national project called Leading Edge
· In our development work, we have been running weekly sessions in hostels in Birmingham with children from families who have just arrived in the country. We have also completed research on the effect of destitution on children and young people
