What are our goals for the future?
SCARPA is seeking is to help young people at risk of running away, sexual exploitation and trafficking to stay safe.This can be achieved by helping young people to:
· remove themselves from episodes of running away or being sexually exploited;
· avoid such episodes being repeated by tackling the underlying causes;
· and increase their awareness of safety strategies if they do become involved in future episodes.
If young people can be helped to achieve the staying safe outcome then they begin to have a much greater chance of achieving in the other four Every Child Matters positive outcomes.
