Why campaign?

The Campaigns team work to help ensure all children have a Good Childhood, but we also campaign tirelessly for those most marginalised children and young people at risk; children at risk on the street, children in trouble with the law, disabled and refugee children.

Children at risk on the street

The risk of young people on the streets is reduced by a new, flexible approach that meets the needs they identify

Children in trouble with the law

Children in trouble with the law should be dealt with as children in need and not as criminals

Disabled Children

The legal rights of all disabled children and young people will be upheld so that from an early age they will be heard in decisions that affect their lives

Young Refugees

All laws and practices that protect, safeguard, and promote the welfare of children should be applied to refugee children and young people
