Leila's story
Leila, 15
"Home life was awful. I ran away from home and started taking drugs. The only way I could pay for them was to charge men for sex. I was desperate.
The team at The Children's Society in Manchester listened when no one else would. I used to think that I was a prostitute, pure and simple. Now I realise that I was a child who was being sexually abused and exploited.
I feel I can speak out and prevent other young people from taking drugs and falling into sexual exploitation."
